After a short while, Seitarou went back to his phone. There were things that he’d wanted to say to Kenshirou, he’d just needed the time to figure out how to say them.

[⭐️🦋🐾🍓]: “I’m worried that there might be more wrong with me than I originally thought, and that’s kind of frustrating. 😔”

Seitarou wasn’t ready to tell him (or Hitoshi, for that matter) what he thought those other things were or might be. But it was a fear that he didn’t want to keep to himself. He wanted to know that even if that was the case, he would be okay. They would be okay.

He was going to be honest about this, even if it hurt.

[🐶🍨Kenshirou-san]: “I’ll talk to him asap, need to get some quick things out of the way so the higher ups don’t think i’m becoming a slacker.”

He got to work on some small documents, digitally signing transfer documents from another prison, preparing for the next ‘shipment’ of prisoners that would come to Nanba this month.

After an hour of uninterrupted work, Kenshirou hoped he would be in the clear to just send a quick text.

[🐶🌸☄🐱]: “Hey love, Hitoshi urged me to check up, sorry that it took me a while. How are you now, working hard?”

[🐶🌸☄🐱]: “I’m so proud that you went ahead and went to that appointment, sweetie. The first visit is scary, but you did it! It might take a while, but we could start seeing improvement in your emotional well-being in time. That’s my, our top priority, and I will support  you wherever you may need assistance.”

[🐶🌸☄🐱]: “Love you 💙💙💙💙💙“

He’d send his lover a gift soon, to keep him motivated to pursue help. A bouquet of flowers sounded nice but… Seitarou worked long days, he wouldn’t get to enjoy them much at home before they wilted, and an unexplained bouquet in the building 13 office? Hajime would demand to hear where it came from.

Maybe fake flowers would be nice… These days, they were hard to distinguish from real ones by sight alone, and if Seitarou desired a flowery aroma, Kenshirou could simply include some floral perfume in the gift pack…
